Systems Engineer (Maritime Combat Systems) - Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop MEWP system architecture
• Develop MEWP Integration Plan
• Monitor manage and report technology / technical risk and changes or developments in ships services, networks, systems and architecture for the MEWP projects
• Promote Open Systems and Standards
• Engage with MEWSIC Contractor, EWCM Contractor, SSCSG, NCSISS facilitating development of coherent architecture, ICDs, IFS, Service Definitions, DES and system of systems integration
• Support acceptance activities of supplier deliverables and evidence for compliance with Authority requirements
• Attend Integration/Installation WGs, wider project meetings and WGs as required

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

• Recent EW Knowledge and experience
• Royal Naval background
• Incorporated Engineer

DESIRABLE

• Trial planning and equipment acceptance experience would be advantageous.
• BEng Hons in Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Engineer
