Oracle Cloud Integrations Specialist – Contract Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Contract Oracle Cloud Integrations Specialist to join their team remotely. About the Role
You’ll be working on the development, validation, and review of integration designs, supporting both existing and new systems. This role involves integrating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions, including custom applications developed via Oracle Visual Business Cloud Service (VBCS). You’ll play a key part in managing a workload that is expanding in scope and complexity, ensuring seamless system integration and operational excellence. *Start date: ASAP | Contract until 31 May 2026 | Day rate: £Negotiable*
Candidates should either already hold SC security clearance or be willing and eligible to undertake the necessary security checks.
Location & Travel
This is a remote-based position, but candidates must be willing to travel to client sites once per month when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Specify technical requirements and oversee the development of system integrations.
- Develop and review integration designs, producing detailed Release Notes.
- Maintain and enhance existing integration workstreams.
- Work with SOAP, REST, and JSON payloads, utilising tools like Postman and Curl for testing.
- Develop custom elements using Oracle VBCS and support deployment within a SECDEVOPS framework.
- Collaborate with teams on system interfaces, particularly Oracle ERP and HCM connectivity.
- Ensure all security standards are met, including OAUTH, IAM, and JWT protocols.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ development experience.
- At least 2 years working directly with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Hands-on experience with system interfaces and cloud-based solutions.
- Knowledge of security protocols and technologies including OAUTH, IAM, JWT.
- Competency with GIT, XML, JSON, XSLT, SOAPUI, and Curl.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with public cloud (IaaS) platforms and security controls.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and release management processes.
- Understanding of security best practices in service development.
- Security clearance eligibility or current SC clearance.
