OWE Engineer - SC Cleared

SUMMARY

Engineer to work on novel and complex development and testing programme who also is an experienced Engineering Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Form Technical Requirements and manage the Test, V&V and evaluation process
- SRD
- ITEAP (proportionate to scale of project)
Establish engineering roadmap for future phases and Engineering Management Plans
Assure technical data as provided by Supplier(s), provide advice to Ch Eg/ Chief Technical Officer/ Senior Safety Responsible on matters they are accountable
Integrate and manage project interests with a wide range of stakeholders, such as Air worthiness authorities & Heads of Establishments
Provide assurance that Supplier tests are safe and IAW with local process, and aviation regulations
Identify and analyse technical hazards, contribute to the development of safety artefacts as required to enable testing.

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

Engineering manager with experience managing development and integration of novel systems
Experience of complex weapons development and testing programmes
Familiarity of aviation regulations and experience working with regulators
Experience with Test, Trails and Experimentation programmes.
Management of development and integration of novel systems.
