ILS Manager - SC cleared

Our defence sector client is recruiting for an SC cleared ILS Manager on a contract starting ASAP until the end of March 2026 with scope to be extended. The role allows for a hybrid working arrangement mix of working from home and a sites in Bristol and Portsmouth. The role offers a day rate of up to £425 per day (Inside IR35).

Strategic Oversight

• Develop and maintain the ILS Strategy and Support Plan, ensuring alignment with DE&S policy and project documentation and representing ILS interests in project and industry meetings.

Team Leadership

• Build and manage the ILS team structure and capabilities, setting objectives and supervising team performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and agencies, and Chair the Logistic Support Committee (LSC).

Reporting & Review

• Provide regular updates to the Assistant Chief Engineer; Ensure ILS input into the Through Life Management Plan (TLMP) and Risk Register; and, conduct, and contribute to, periodic reviews (monthly, quarterly, annually as specified).

TASKS

• Develop ILS and Supportability Analysis strategies.
• Prepare ILSP and Use Study.
• Ensure ILS requirements are included in procurement documents (ITT, SOW).
• Evaluate bids using ILS criteria.
• Identify Government Furnished Assets (GFA) needs.
• Initiate the Supportability Case and integrate ILS risks into the project risk register.
