About the Role
This contract position is ideal for someone with around 10 years’ experience in defence or safety-critical industries. You'll be working on a variety of Naval projects, applying your expertise to enhance system safety and usability. The role is for an initial 3-month period, with the potential for extension, and offers day rates between £450 and £550 (inside IR35).
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience working within defence or safety-critical settings
- Solid knowledge of standards such as DEF STAN 00-251, ISO 9241, and JSP 912
- A degree in Human Factors or a comparable qualification, backed by substantial professional experience
- Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach to complex project delivery
Desirable Skills
- Chartership with CIEHF or an equivalent professional body
- Experience leading Human Factors Integration within multi-disciplinary teams
- Skills in mixed-method study design, especially relevant in safety-critical environments
