Evodia Limited is partnering with an esteemed client seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join their team in Bristol on a contract basis, offering a blend of onsite and remote working. This role, available immediately, provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects until March 2026, with the potential for extension until 2029.
Due to the timescales involved a current and live SC security clearance is essential.
About the Role
As the Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and managing compliance in line with the Air Engineer’s Toolkit 15B2 requirements and the new QSEE EPAT standards. Your expertise will support the integration of the latest Acquisition Environmental Management Procedures (AEMPs) into operational practices, producing necessary artefacts and ensuring statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and managing environmental programmes using ASEMS and related tools
- Developing and refining Environmental Management Systems tailored to programme needs
- Ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations within the Air domain and beyond
- Collaborating across teams to embed environmental best practices into everyday activities
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in environmental protection, with substantial experience in developing and managing Environmental Management Systems. Specific requirements include:
- Significant experience in environmental roles, preferably within Defence or aerospace sectors
- Experience working with ASEMS and environmental management tools
- Chartered or Incorporated status in engineering or science (or demonstrable equivalent)
- Member of a recognised Professional Environmental Institute
- Minimum Level 4 NQF qualification in a relevant science or engineering discipline
- Experience within the Air domain is highly desirable

- Location: Bristol (3–4 days onsite per week, with flexible remote working options)
- Contract Length: Until 31 March 2026, with scope to extend to 2029
- Day Rate: Up to £570 (inside IR35)
- Standard hours: 7.5 per day
