OVERVIEW
Our client requires an individual to join the operational delivery team advising Ministers on planning applications on an initial 3 month contract offering up to £450 per day (Inside IR35).
Hybrid working is available from the following office locations: Aberdeen, Birmingham, Cardiff, Darlington, Edinburgh, London and Salford.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will use your experience and skills to provide comprehensive, evidence based environmental advice to inform decisions in respect of nationally significant energy infrastructure projects under the Planning Act 2008.
- This could involve projects both onshore or offshore but are expected to include projects related to offshore wind and solar.
SKILLS & QUAIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
- A relevant environmental sciences undergraduate degree.
- Relevant experience of writing, reviewing or responding to
- Habitats Regulations Assessments and
- Environmental Impact Assessments
- Proven ability to interpret complex environmental information.
- Environmental Sciences Degree
DESIRABLE
- A background or interest in a technical environmental specialism such as
- landscape & visual assessment,
- land quality,
- water,
- noise,
- air quality,
- human health etc.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
