Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA) Consultant - SC cleared

We’ve partnered with a leading defence client in Portsmouth seeking a Contract Enterprise Architect to play a key role in a NATO programme. If you’re comfortable leading architecture modelling activities, establishing robust repositories, and engaging with stakeholders across complex projects, this could be the perfect fit.

Role Highlights:

  • Position: Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA) Consultant
  • Location: Portsmouth, with hybrid working (3 days onsite)
  • Security Clearance: SC required
  • Contract Duration: Until February 2027, ASAP start
  • Day Rate: Market competitive, to be discussed

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will take ownership of the enterprise architecture modelling environment, establishing and configuring Sparx EA repositories and frameworks aligned to programme goals. Your expertise will support the development and maintenance of architecture artefacts, ensuring models are accurate, governance-compliant, and fit for purpose. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders to support architecture reviews, reporting, and artefact delivery, ensuring the entire enterprise architecture remains consistent and high-quality throughout the programme lifecycle.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Expert-level experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
  • Proven track record in <=strong>enterprise architecture modelling
  • Hands-on experience establishing and maintaining architecture repositories and frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently within a high-security/regulated environment
  • Experience producing high-quality, detailed architectural artefacts

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous support for defence, NATO, MOD, or government programmes
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, MODAF, NAF, or ArchiMate
  • Experience mentoring junior modelers or leading modelling activities
  • Working within secure or highly regulated environments
