Evodia Limited is working on behalf of a leading Defence client seeking an experienced SC or DV cleared Electronic Systems & Sensors Engineer to join their team in Bristol and work on Position, Navigation & Timing (PNT) projects. Location & Working Arrangements
The role is based in Bristol, with a flexible hybrid working model, requiring onsite presence for 2-3 days a week. This setup offers the perfect balance for those who value both the office environment and remote working.
About the Role
Reporting into the PNT Programme Lead, you will be a key contributor to delivering critical PNT projects for CSOC, providing subject matter expertise and guidance within defence. You’ll own the development of ESS requirements, contribute to risk management, and manage the design, testing, verification, and validation of systems to meet operational needs, all while working within agreed time, cost, and performance constraints.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will bring a broad depth of experience in providing technical advice and delivering successful electronic or mechatronic solutions. A successful track record in systems engineering, especially in Position, Navigation & Timing technologies or GNSS, will set you apart. You should possess a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics qualification at RQF Level 4 or above, and be professionally registered with bodies such as IEng, RSci, RMarTech, Adv RITTech, or CPhys.
Security Clearance
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must hold a minimum of SC clearance, with DV clearance being highly desirable.
