We’re working with a forward-thinking client based in Bristol, offering a hybrid working arrangement with 2 to 3 days onsite each week. Our client is seeking a knowledgeable professional to support their UAS (Unmanned Air Systems) core delivery team. If you have a background working in military aerospace environments, particularly within UAVs, and hold an SC security clearance, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role
Location: Bristol – 2 to 3 days per week onsite
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length: Until 31 March 2026, with potential to extend
Day Rate: £450 to £570 per day (ex VAT, Inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of artefacts essential for UAS platforms, including Release To Service (RTS), Release To Service Recommendation (RTSR), and Air System Safety Case (ASSC).
- Assist in airworthiness and certification activities, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
- Contribute to Type Airworthiness Safety Assessments (TASA) and Release to Service recommendations.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven background in the Military aerospace environment.
- Experience working within joint military and civil teams.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in military UAV environment and related safety case production.
- Familiarity with RTS/MilCam procedures.
- Qualified Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
