A campaign to encourage moped and motorcycle riders to ride more safely has just been created by Evodia Communications for Surrey Police. The campaign, which includes advertising with graphic photographs of a young rider being knocked of his moped by a car driver, will be rolled out across Surrey from the end of July. The advertising which encourages riders to ride protected and reminds car drivers to look out for bikes on the road can be seen on the back of buses and on billboards and phone boxes on routes where there is a high incidence of motorcycle and moped accidents. There is also a targetted social media campaign using the same imagery and Evodia has also designed a leaflet giving riders useful safety information that will be available in motorbike retailers and at road safety events over the Summer.
